What load must your new WEISS table be capable of withstanding? The new WEISS app now provides answers to this and other questions. In-deed, calculating the mass moment of inertia has never been this easy, convenient and intuitive. Simply let your smartphone do the work – in the office or at the plant. Use the practical additional features such as the unit converter or the integrated ruler.
Calculation tool
Only the parameters for the plate and attachments need to be entered in order to calculate the mass moment of inertia. Is the plate made of aluminium or steel? Round or square? How heavy are the attachments? The WEISS app calculates the acting forces both quickly and conveniently. You can then use the results of the calculation to select your new WEISS rotary table. Of course, you can also refer back to the saved configura-tions next time or send the results to a colleague – directly from the app.
Ruler
Do you ever encounter situations in which you need to quickly check an approximate dimension, but do not have a ruler to hand? The ruler func-tion can help here. The millimetre scale appears at the edge of your smartphone – available both for left-handed and right-handed people.
